Which students are missing the most instructional time
Which students are going overtime on their passes
Which grades are using SmartPass and to what extent
Which teachers have written the most (or least) passes
Which rooms are the busiest, both as destination and origin
And more!

Tips for Using Analytics
This data can be very insightful and help drive informed decisions and guide you in meaningful conversations with parents, teachers and students.
You may want to consider how often to audit your pass data. For some admin this may be a daily check, for others weekly or monthly. Whatever your flow, be sure to set a consistent plan to review this data. You can adjust the date right at the top left to reflect the window of time you are analyzing.
Use the Frequent Flyer Data to put certain limits in place. If you have certain students using too many passes, consider an individual limit for them. Maybe you are seeing too many auto-ended passes, this may mean you need to re-train staff and students on best practices. For a student with a lot of passes overtime, you can use this data to help drive conversation about returning on time and ending passes.
Review your passes over time graph to analyze trends in usage. Are you seeing more or less passes being made? You may need to enact hallway max capacities or maybe ensure everyone is using SmartPass with fidelity, depending on what you find here.
Dig into your staff and room usage data to determine any abnormalities. You may find certain staff or locations that are not using SmartPass with fidelity, or you may find that some staff or locations are issuing too many passes. This can help drive conversations or assist you in determining training needs.
