‍

Benefits

  • Streamlines the process of scheduling passes for class picture day, making it much easier for both students and staff.

  • Notifications help ensure that students don't forget about picture day and arrive on time.

  • By scheduling passes in advance, SmartPass eliminates the need for staff to manually keep track of which students need to have their picture taken.

  • Using SmartPass for class picture day reduces stress for both staff and students, making for a more pleasant experience.

How to set up and use

  1. Create a new room pass and name it "Class Picture Day."- Alternatively if pictures are taken in the auditorium or gym, you could make passes to this location.

  2. Set up future passes for each group with staggered times throughout the day.

    1. If calling student down by grade, make sure grade levels are added for each student.

    2. If students are coming from different rooms, set the pass up as "declinable" so students can fill out their origin.

    3. Alternatively you could use the "class picture day" room as an origin and then the destination is the physical place they go for pictures, but teachers would not get notifications this way.

  3. Send the passes to the students so that they know when and where to report for their class picture.

  4. You can close the room when it's no longer needed for the school year and open it again for the next school year.
