What is Enhanced Security on ID Cards?

Just like our standard Digital ID cards, Pro IDs allow for customization of your cards to work in your building. With students using ID cards to scan for passes, checking into places, or even to gain access to events, it is important you know their ID is legitimate. This is where Enhanced Security comes in.

Enhanced Security prevents students from taking a screenshot or screen recording of the ID card. Enhanced Security also provides a moving component to show that the ID card is live and not a copy. All of these pieces of security prevent students from falsifying or sharing their ID cards.

In the image below, note the moving components included with Enhanced Security:

Enhanced Security is found by clicking ID Cards on the left of your Admin Account. On the list of settings you will see a toggle titled Enhanced Security. It is toggled ON by default if you have Pro IDs.
