Disabling pass limits for certain rooms enables schools to set varied pass limits for different locations, ensuring students can access essential resources and services without using up their passes for the day.
This feature helps schools manage student movement more effectively by restricting passes to other areas without impacting access to specific locations. By providing the ability to create a tailored pass limit system, schools can address unique needs and concerns, such as reducing hall traffic or managing bathroom usage.
NOTE: Currently, it still counts toward the pass limits if the room is the origin. We'll be working on this to make sure it won't. Stay tuned!
How to disable certain rooms from counting toward the pass limits
Log in as an Admin.
Navigate to the "Rooms" section.
Click on the room you want to modify the pass limit settings for.
Locate the "Counts toward pass limits" toggle. This toggle will be enabled by default.
To disable counting passes to this room towards the pass limit, simply toggle off the "Counts toward pass limits" setting.
Once disabled, passes to that specific room will no longer count toward the students' pass limits. Students won't see if a certain room counts toward the pass limit or not.
Tip: Enable pass limits for areas like restrooms and water fountains, while disabling them for the majority of other rooms.
For iOS users: To utilize this feature, ensure that the app is updated to version 1.10.2 or higher.
