There may be times throughout your school year where you are running a modified schedule. These are schedules that occur at random, or set times throughout your year, but are not defined in any certain rotation. Examples are early release, delay schedules, pep rallies, etc.

You can add modified days when you initially set up your schedule, or you can add these throughout the year as needed.
Adding Modified Days When Building Your Schedule
Add day that follow a modified schedule of a Regular Day. These can include pep rally, early release, late start and testing schedules.
You will add these schedule one at a time by clicking + Add Modified Day. You will need to add a name to your schedule and select which of your regular schedules are impacted by this modified day.
Next, you will edit, add, and/or remove periods to create the modified schedule. You will be asked to do this for each of the regular schedules you applied this schedule to. Hit Next when complete. Hit Save and then Next when you are finished with all of your schedules.

Adding Modified Days To An Existing Schedule
You can modified schedules throughout the year as you have the need. These schedules can be added and set live immediately.

To add a new modified schedule begin by opening and editing your schedule. To do this start on the Schedule tab on your admin page. Click Change Schedule followed by Edit Schedule.
When the schedule editor opens click Next to land on Modified Days.
You will add these schedule one at a time by clicking + Add Modified Day. You will need to add a name to your schedule and select which of your regular schedules are affected by this modified day.
Next, you will edit, add, and/or remove periods to create the modified schedule. You will be asked to do this for each of the regular schedules you applied this schedule to. Hit Next when complete. Hit Save and then Next when you are finished with all of your schedules.

Adding Modified Days To The Calendar
There are 2 ways to add modified days. The first method is to do this on the main screen from the weekly view. This is great for last minute changes.

Click the day of the week you need to add a modified day to, hit the Change Schedule button and click the schedule you wish to add.
The next way to do this is to do it from the calendar view while editing a schedule. This is best of you need to add this multiple times, and for dates further out in the school year. To get there click Change Schedule, followed by Edit Schedule. The calendar is the last of the 5 steps, hit next to get here if you are not already there.

Be sure to hit Publish when you are all finished.
FAQ
Do I need to add modified days for each schedule?
If you have concurrent schedules (schedules running at the same time), then yes, you would need to add the days to each schedule. Rotating days within a single schedule would be applied as shown in the step above.
Do teachers have to edit their classes and reaccept them to add the modified days?
No, teachers do not need to edit or reaccept classes, modified days are applied to the regular schedules you indicate when building the day.
Can I add a modified day the day of?
Yes, adding modified days can be done at any time and can take effect immediately if setting to the current day.
